To begin utilizing the enhanced
credit card processing system, you
will need to register with either
Stripe or Authorize.net. This section
will guide you through the
registration process of Authorize.net,
ensuring that you have everything set
up correctly to take advantage of the
system's features and benefits. Please
work with the dedicated account
representative to get your account
setup.
Step 1: Create an Authorize.net
Account
We have a dedicated representative
with Authorize.net that will help you
get started. Please email the account
representative with your contact
details. They will reach back out to
you and walk you through account
setup. Most applications are approved
immediately and go live within 24
hours. Authorize.net offers two types of accounts, the account
representative will make sure you have
the correct account type.
All-in-One Account: If you
are looking for a comprehensive
solution that includes both payment
gateway services and a merchant
account, the All-in-One Account is a
suitable choice. This option allows
for seamless integration between
payment processing and fund transfers
directly to your account.
Payment Gateway Only
Account: If you already have
a merchant account and are solely
interested in integrating
Authorize.net as your payment gateway,
the 'Payment Gateway Only Account' is
the appropriate selection. This
account type enables you to benefit
from Authorize.net's secure payment
processing capabilities while
continuing to use your existing
merchant account.
Step 2: Obtain Your
Authorize.net Credentials
After successfully registering, you
will need to get API credentials from
Authorize.net, including an API login
ID and a transaction key. These
credentials are crucial for
integrating Authorize.net with our
credit card processing system and
ensuring secure communication. You can
follow the instructions in the link
below or work with the Authorize.net
account representative to walk you
through the process.
Step 3: Integrate
Authorize.net with The
Exchange
Once you have obtained your
Authorize.net credentials, please call
us to let us know what they are so we
can test the integration and complete
the setup. We will work with you to
configure the necessary settings and
establish a secure connection between
our system and
Authorize.net.
